Minecraft 1.15 Changes

Mojang released the update 1.15 on December 10, 2019. It adds bees to Minecraft and all their related items like honeycombs and honey bottles.

Regarding commands, Minecraft 1.15 added the /spectate command, used to force the player to spectate the target.

/spectate [<target>] [<player>]

It works only in Spectator mode to spectate another entity.

Minecraft 1.15 also modified some behaviors of the /data, /execute and /schedule commands.

New gamerules were introduced, some of them ported from Minecraft Bedrock Edition:

  • doInsomnia
  • doImmediateRespawn
  • drowningDamage
  • fallDamage
  • fireDamage
